The sound material in "lose enden" is created solely using foils and my physical movements, threading through the surrounding space. By playing with varying directions—over, up, and down—along with adjusting the speed, rhythm, and tone of the sound sequences produced by the foils, a sculptural quality emerges within the auditory realm. Within this acoustic environment, space itself becomes an active agent, resonating with the original gestures and their nuanced variations. Meanwhile, in the installation, the formerly used foils remain motionless, fixed to the floor, their only evidence of movement being the patterns etched into their surface.
As the sounds reverberate and move through the exhibition space, the visitor's ears are led on a journey of exploration, while their eyes scan the seemingly static surface of the foils, searching in vain for signs of activity. This juxtaposition of dynamic sound and static visual elements creates a disjunction, inviting the visitor's perception to fill the gap and project the imagined gestures into the physical space.
