Over three years, I artistically engaged with the sonic phenomena of islands. The interpretations and unique configurations of each recording played a pivotal role in shaping both thematic and formal exploration. I composed a spatial sound composition by sculpting arrangements of sound sources, clusters, and fields, drawing inspiration from geographical, literary, mythological, and physical island archetypes. The spatial sound composition was entirely developed in Ambisonics at the Cube of the Institute of Electronic Music Graz.
